ABOUT MOVEMENT LOFT DANCE COMPANY

Movement Loft Dance Company is a dance company formed for artists by artists.

All of our members are recreational dancers who have experience with dance, and a strong desire to grow artistically, technically and personally. And above all- want to have FUN!

About the 2025 Fall/Winter Season

Halloween Spook-tacular (performance in October 2025)

Choose from these styles: Contemporary, Jazz Funk, Musical Theater, Hip Hop

Weekly rehearsals Sundays 12:30-2pm

MLDC presents The Nutcracker (performances in December 2025)

Choose from these styles: Ballet, Hip Hop, Latin, Contemporary

Weekly rehearsals Sundays 12:30-2pm

WHAT’S INCLUDED with MLDC MEMBERSHIP:

  • Learn and perform in our Fall show and Winter Nutcracker performances

  • Access to Movement Loft unlimited monthly classes through Dec 31, 2025

Fall/Winter Season Cost: $125/mo billed monthly for 6 months - season runs July-December 2025

REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN June 1 and closes June 21

Commitment:

You do not need to have performed professionally before, however you will need to be familiar with dance terminology and learning choreography. You will also need to be comfortable with performing publicly.

During this season our goal is to develop and grow our dancers artistically, providing opportunities to expand your technique, focus, dedication and passion for the art.

  • MLDC Members commit to performing in a minimum of 1 piece per season

  • MLDC Members attend at least 80% of rehearsals

  • MLDC Members should be actively taking classes to improve technique and skills

  • MLDC Members will be cast in one showcase show, and in the Command Performance

  • All payments must be made on date of autodraft. A 6-month commitment is required for full-season members. Pre-payment for the entire season can be made.

  • New prospective members must attend a minimum of 3 classes at the Movement Loft and attend placement in order to join the company

Sweet + Spicy Holiday Spectacular on Dec 13 + 20

Don’t miss this ode to your favorite and nostalgic holiday traditions. Our winter show features some naughty and some nice choreography, including excerpts from the beloved holiday favorite The Nutcracker.

PAST SHOW: Once Upon a 5 6 7 8 on

October 13 1-4pm

Immerse yourself into the wild storybook world, as our two main characters adventure through modern takes on favorite tales like Alice in Wonderland, Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood and more. Our show concludes at the Cinderella Ball, and opens to a reception for our audience.
