Dancers can choose to perform in up to 3 pieces for our upcoming Holiday Spectacular showcase held at Movement Loft studio on Friday, December 13.
All MLDC members have access to unlimited Movement Loft classes, invites to Dance co exclusive socials, a chance to grow artistically and personally, and more.
ABOUT MOVEMENT LOFT DANCE COMPANY
Movement Loft Dance Company is a dance company formed for artists by artists.
All of our members are recreational dancers who have experience with dance, and a strong desire to grow artistically, technically and personally.
You do not need to have performed professionally before, however you will need to be familiar with dance terminology and learning choreography. You will also need to be comfortable with performing publicly.
During this season our goal is to develop and grow our dancers artistically, providing opportunities to expand your technique, focus, dedication and passion for the art.
About the show: Sweet & Spicy Holiday Showcase
Naughty Chair Choreograhy (rehearsals on Mondays 8-9pm during 50 Shades of Sexy class time)
Holiday Contemporary (rehearsals on Wednesdays 8-9pm)
Nutcracker Ballet Excerpts (Thursdays 8-9pm)
Weekly rehearsals October 28-Dec 12
Dress Rehearsal (Thursday 12/12 from 8-9pm)
performance on Friday, DECEMBER 13 AT 7PM-8:15PM

UPCOMING SHOW: Once Upon a 5 6 7 8 on
October 13 1-4pm
Immerse yourself into the wild storybook world, as our two main characters adventure through modern takes on favorite tales like Alice in Wonderland, Snow White, Little Red Riding Hood and more. Our show concludes at the Cinderella Ball, and opens to a reception for our audience.
ABOUT THE Fall Show:
Our recital will take place on in October 2024 at Arts Mission Oak Cliff. Our theme is a modern take on some of your favorite storybook tales, set to a range of genres of dance including contemporary, hip hop, jazz and more.
The entire choreographic piece will be full-length with an intermission in between sets. After the show, all are invited to stay for a reception with the dancers and artists.
We will provide each dancer with two comp tickets for the showcase. Additional tickets can be purchased by the general public. The show is open to the public, and you are encouraged to invite your family and friends to attend and enjoy.
