Restorative Yoga + Acupuncture

The Movement Loft has teamed up with Dr. Andie Ibarra, D.C. of Functional Health of Dallas, to provide a yoga and acupuncture combo workshop.

Yoga and acupuncture work in tandem to create a free flow of energy and unblock areas of the body where energy (chi) is blocked.

During this 1.5hr yoga session, led by Ellen Hoffman owner of the Movement Loft, attendees will be guided through a cleansing and energy opening yoga sequence, with breaks in between sequences during which the acupuncturist will place acupuncture needles in specific pressure points of the body - aiding in the alleviation of blocked energy, illness, pain and certain chronic conditions.

How it works and what to expect

Acupuncture works to restore the flow of chi throughout your body by placing very thin, stainless steel, sterile needles at various points in your body.

Many patients find the treatment very relaxing and experience a feeling of well-being. Often, patients are surprised at how comfortable they are during the treatment and how easily the needles are placed.

Safety and Sanitation

Dr. Andie Ibarra is a licensed acupuncturist. Needles are sterile and disposable, used once and disposed of safely.

Benefits

Acupuncture is useful in addressing a variety of health conditions, including:
