Fosse-Inspired Broadway Masterclass with Danielle Georgiou

Join us for a broadway dance masterclass on Sunday, April 23. Learn all-levels friendly choreography inspired by Bob Fosse’s work. This masterclass is led by renowned artist, dancer, choreographer and director, Danielle Georgiou.

For anyone who is inspired by the magic of broadway jazz, this class is for you! Bob Fosse is known as a choreographer and director of stage and screen musicals, best known for masterpieces such as Chicago, Cabaret, All That Jazz, Pippin, Sweet Charity and countless others.

During this one-hour class you’ll learn technique and a short snippet of choreography that will have you moving…and all that jazz.

Dr. Danielle Georgiou is a director and choreographer of theatre, dance, and opera, and a video and performance artist based in Dallas, TX. Her work has been presented nationally and internationally; most recently, her videos have been screened in New York, New Jersey, Texas, Germany, Italy, and Cyprus. She teaches jazz, modern, and ballet at Dallas College and has dance professionally for numerous companies in the Dallas/Ft. Worth metroplex. In 2011, she started the award-winning dance theatre company, the Danielle Georgiou Dance Group (DGDG), which produces original dance plays, musicals, and theatrical films. She holds a Ph.D. in Aesthetic Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas.
